With five annual Victoria’s Secret fashion shows under her belt, Candice Swanepoel is a pro at prepping to strut the catwalk in next-to-nothing.

From all-liquid diets and grueling daily sweat sessions to near deprivation, it’s easy to see why some models go to great lengths to prepare for their goddess-like figures for the televised lingerie show. But Swanepoel eschews such extreme tactics, opting instead to simply ramp up her regular diet and fitness routine.

“I usually use heavier weights on my ankles or the weights that I’m using,” the South African model, 24, told Celebuzz ahead of Wednesday night’s glitz-and-glam show. “But for me, I work out two days and then I need a rest day. Then I work another two days, then I rest again. So we’re kind of ready all year round — it’s just about fine-tuning it.”

In addition to maintaining a regular fitness routine, the model credits her other healthy habits for helping to get her runway-ready.

“I drink a lot of water,” Swanepoel admits. “And sleep, that’s the most important thing for me, to have a good night’s rest because no matter what you do if you don’t sleep and rest, you’ll look terrible.”

The Disney star – who is known for being kicked off the Jonas Brothers’ tour for punching a dancer, dabbling in drugs and combatting an eating disorder - and has revealed that she Brit Brit have become really close on the set of The X Factor USA, but she didn’t expect to bond with her.

She told People.com: "What surprised me the most about Britney is that she's actually really quirky. You kind of expect a legendary pop star [to] sometimes [be], like, a diva or something, but she's really not. She's a sweet, down-to-earth, Southern girl."

Hmm, we think that’s code for “wow, this pop princess actually has a hint of nuttiness like me!”

She also (well, basically) excused the showed for not being as drama-filled at American Idol, even though the latter series hasn’t even aired yet.

Filming scenes for her hit TV show, Emily VanCamp was on the “Revenge” set in Los Angeles on Wednesday (November 7).

The 26-year-old cutie relaxed in a loose-fitting red sundress and nude Christian Louboutin heels while her hair was retouched between takes.

As to the popularity of the drama, VanCamp said, “I think revenge is a universal theme. It's fun to delve into the lives of the rich and beautiful people of the Hamptons. The economy is in such a bad shape that people are looking for an escape - and Revenge can provide that escape. It all came together with perfect timing for us. The show has really caught on.”

Fans can catch a new episode of “Revenge” titled Penance on Sunday, November 11 at 9/8 central on ABC.

 Sienna Miller may have given birth in July, but fans of the actress can enjoy the sight of her knocked up by Tom Sturridge for all of eternity, thanks to artist Jonathan Yeo.

He has pained a portrait of Miller naked and pregnant, which will be included in his "(I've Got You) Under My Skin" exhibition at the Circle Culture Gallery in Berlin.

 "I wanted an image that epitomized the human body in its most naturally beautiful state," Yeo says of the idea, adding:

"It has been 22 years since a pregnant Demi Moore caused uproar by posing for Annie Leibovitz on the cover of Vanity Fair. In that time society has become almost completely desensitized to the daily exposure to people who have surgically distorted their appearance for artificial reasons.

"Yet certain sections of society are still uncomfortable with the appearance of pregnancy and images of naked expectant mothers are rarely seen."

We ask that question on a regular basis, we realize, but prosecutors are likely to push for it for real this time, with the star facing charges of lying to police.


The L.A. City Attorney will reportedly ask the judge to throw the embattled actress in jail for violating terms of her probation in Lohan's ncklace theft case.

"Prosecutors and cops think there is more than enough evidence for the judge to find Lindsay in violation of her probation," a source close to the situation said.

"They are hopeful that this time, she will face the maximum penalty for lying to cops. Remember, the burden is much lower for a probation violation."

"Just the fact that Lindsay will be charged with a crime is enough."

As previously reported, Lohan rear ended a dump truck on Pacific Coast Highway last summer. She initially tried to claim her assistant was the one driving.

Compounding matters? The tow truck driver Lindsay rear ended, James Johnson, will testify that her camp tried to pay him off immediately after the accident.

Johnson has also told cops that Lindsay was "absolutely trying to leave the scene of the accident without exchanging information with him," an insider says.

"Prosecutors are extremely frustrated that Lindsay continues to act as if she is above the law and feel the system hasn't punished her harshly enough."

We'll see if that changes. Lindsay remains on probation, and under the terms of her probation, must obey all laws, which she obviously is incapable of doing.

Will she pull a legal rabbit out of her hat again? Time will tell.

Fully immersing themselves in Tuesday's political festivities, the stars took to the polling booths and Twitter to sound off on the Presidential election.

Many of the celebs opted for a general encouraging tweet to get to the polls with some even offering incentives to do your civic duty, as Darren Criss offered a signed Rock the Vote T-shirt while Katy Perry offered to retweet her favorite fan election day outfits.

All three Kardashian sisters encouraged their millions of Twitter fans to follow their lead and vote, while Miley Cyrus, Mandy Moore, Heidi Klum and Halle Berry were among the famous faces spotted casting their ballots.

Meanwhile, Latino stars made a big push for President Obama this year, with Ricky Martin tweeting a photo of himself at a Florida campaign rally for Barack, George Lopez promising to deliver Colorado for Obama, and Eva Longoria gushing over fellow Obama supporter Will Ferrell's hilarious new voting video.

Encouraging fellow women to support President Obama were Rashida Jones, who called for ladies to vote in "our election" and Mariah Carey, who joined the First Lady Michelle Obama in North Carolina.

Aside from the race to the White House, a controversial California Proposition regarding genetically engineered or genetically modified food labeling earned the attention of Charlie Sheen and Nina Dobrev, who will vote "yes" on the measure.
